What Therapy Is Really Like

Therapy can feel like a mystery until you are in it. So here is what it is really like.

Some people expect change to happen on its own once they start. Others worry that talking about their struggles will only make things worse. The truth sits somewhere in the middle. Therapy is real work, and some sessions will feel lighter than others.

We will move at a pace that feels right for you, and you will never be pushed further than you are ready to go. Over time, many clients describe feeling calmer, more grounded, more confident, and more like themselves.

I also like to bring warmth and even a little humour into the room, because healing and lightness can exist side by side. You do not need to have it all figured out before you reach out. That is what we work through together.
