The Emotional Side of Menopause

Perimenopause and menopause can bring changes no one warned you about. Anxiety that appears out of nowhere. Low mood. Brain fog. Poor sleep. Feeling less patient, less confident, or simply not like yourself.

These changes are real, and they are common. Yet many women feel dismissed, confused, or alone as they move through them. You deserve support that takes this stage of life seriously.

As a General Member of The Menopause Society, I stay current on this life stage and bring that understanding into my sessions. Counselling can help you make sense of what is happening, build practical strategies for mood, stress, and sleep, and give you room to explore who you are becoming.

Counselling works alongside, not in place of, care from your doctor or menopause specialist. Many women find the combination makes the biggest difference. Midlife can be a time of real growth, with more clarity about what you want and a deeper sense of self.
