Perimenopause and Menopause Counselling

Support for the emotional side of midlife change, from a counsellor who understands this stage.

Perimenopause and menopause can bring changes no one warned you about. Anxiety that appears out of nowhere. Low mood. Brain fog. Poor sleep. Feeling less patient, less confident, or simply not like yourself.

These changes are real, and they're common. Yet many women feel dismissed, confused, or alone as they move through them. You deserve support that takes this stage of life seriously.

What It Can Look Like

New or worsening anxiety or panic
Low mood, tearfulness, or irritability
Brain fog and trouble focusing
Sleep disruption and fatigue
Strain in relationships at home or work
Questions about identity, purpose, and what comes next
Grief for the changes in your body and life

How We'll Work Together

As a General Member of The Menopause Society, I stay current on this life stage and bring that understanding into our sessions. We'll make sense of what's happening, build practical strategies for mood, stress, and sleep, and give you room to explore who you're becoming.

Counselling works alongside, not in place of, care from your doctor or menopause specialist. Many women find the combination makes the biggest difference.

A New Chapter

Midlife can be a time of real growth. With support, many women come through this transition with more clarity about what they want, stronger boundaries, and a deeper sense of self.

In Person or Online

Sessions are available in person at my Yaletown office in downtown Vancouver, or online anywhere in British Columbia.
